Love Southbourne Spring Forward - 24th-26th of March
With the upcoming second edition of a Love Southbourne weekend, taking place in Southbourne, Dorset, we spoke to the independent business owners Simon of The Wight Bear and James from The Larderhouse the team behind Love Southbourne to find out what's happening and why supporting independents on our high street is so important.
‘Love Southbourne is taking place across the Spring Forward weekend of March 24th,25th,26th. The event is happening everywhere across the Southbourne (Dorset) area, its a collective celebration of independent traders in Southbourne Day & Night.
We feel it is essential to highlight a high street that serves the community and is supported by the community. Our high street is a total success despite tough and testing times because of the high standards that all of Southbourne's independent traders strive to achieve. Currently, there is too much negativity out there; let's Love Southbourne and find something new; discovery and people's faces are what make Southbourne strong. Our goal is to increase the love in Southbourne.
Southbourne is unique because every shop is open, every trader offers something different, and everything is all in a short walk from top to bottom. There is simply no reason to go to a superstore or shopping centre like Castlepoint, speak to your local trader and they will provide what you need.
