Coastal BID brings the first Comedy Cringe festival to Southbourne - 04.02.22 - 05.02.22

Working with local comedy and theatre company Black Cherry they have programmed a whole host of FREE events to keep you perky in these dreary February months. Coastal BID are offering free tickets for their first Comedy Cringe Festival weekend in Southbourne on the 4th and 5th of February!

Grab your FREE tickets on The Black Cherry Theatre website for a choice of 7 different venues and come and join us on the Grove on Sunday 5th February for a hilarious family-friendly 80s workout with Steam Ship Circus.

The weekend will kick off with a kids comedy show at the Brewhouse and Kitchen tucked away at the back of the brewpub’s garden at The Malthouse on Saturday 4th of February from 12:00-13:00.

Swiftly moving into Prosecco or no secco mindfulness at Makla, and three stand-ups at Velo Domestique in the evening.

Sunday 5th February We’d love you to come and join the Steam Ship Circus comedy walkabout on the Grove from 12:00 pm for their comical interpretation of an 80’s workout. Bring the whole family, as you will have seen nothing like this before, and it’ll certainly wake you up and give you an appetite for a hearty Sunday roast!

Sunday evening will be a mixture of intimate stand-up at the Library in the Larder House, and we couldn’t finish without some SOBO participation, come and help be part of a Game show of laughs at The Grove Tavern on Sunday evening. It will be a fabulous night of epic fun; the winners will walk away with some top prizes!

Don’t forget you’ll need a ticket- the good news is they are free!
