Get ready for a fun-filled day of family-friendly activities at Easter on the Green on Saturday 19th April! Bring your little ones along for an exciting Easter egg hunt, a bunny hunt, arts and crafts, face painting, and even a chance to meet the Bournemouth Goats!
Looking for a way to entertain the kids this Easter? Why not get them creative by making an Easter bonnet! Join us on the Green for the chance to show off your colourful creations. Prizes are up for grabs, so start crafting! You can grab all the resources you need at Southbourne General Store and Haberdasherdo.

Sobo Traders Scavenger Hunt
From the 14th – 19th April, the SOBO Traders Easter Scavenger Hunt will be taking you on an adventure around the shops in Southbourne. Organised by Sugar Mango, this hunt is the perfect way to explore the local businesses and be in with the chance of winning an amazing prize!
Start at Sugar Mango to collect your first clue and sheet, then follow the clues hidden in the windows of shops along The Grove. Once you’ve solved them all, hand in your completed sheet at Sugar Mango to enter the prize draw and win goodies from some of your favourite local stores.
Introducing The Yam Cafe!
We are thrilled to welcome The Yam Cafe to 154 Seabourne Road.
Meet Alana and George – owners of Yam Cafe. Alana previously worked at Bakehouse 24 and George ran the Crow Spotter Cafe at the Retreat New Forest with his brother.
The Yam Cafe will be open Wednesday – Saturday 8am – 3pm and Sunday 9am – 2pm, serving a delicious salads, sandwiches, coffee and bakes. Everything is suitable for vegetarians and there are gluten free and dairy free options available. All ingredients used in The Yam are from local suppliers or are homemade. They are so excited to welcome you tomorrow.

Sandwiches:
All sandwiches are on ciabatta from Bakehouse 24 + homemade focaccia
Tomato, mozzarella, wild garlic pesto (homemade) and fresh basil
Roasted asparagus, beetroot hummus, salsa verde + rocket
Salads:
Dill and mustard potato salad
Quinoa, black bean, tomato and avocado
Lemon and herb slaw
Purple sprouting broccoli with miso, chilli + garlic dressing
Cakes – from Blundell Bakes, Vamos Kitchen and homemade
