Southbourne’s New Shops and Exciting Events You Need to Know About!

NEW IN TOWN!

We’re thrilled to welcome Wholistic Roots, a brand-new health shop owned by the wonderful nutritionist, Mel! She has transformed the space into a beautiful haven, with the help of talented local traders. Jack from South Coast Bespoke worked his magic, while Shotgun Signs is adding an artistic touch to The Grove. Keep an eye out for their grand opening next week!

Exciting Eats Alert!

Southbourne has its first-ever Indian restaurant (or so we believe!) – SOBO NOBAB. This new addition to our international dining scene is set to spice things up! Expect authentic Indian flavours, warming spices, and dishes packed with tradition and taste. We can’t wait to try it – let us know what you think once you visit!

MARCH MADNESS – EVENTS GALORE!

March is looking BUSY! We’re kicking off with International Women’s Day, and Southbourne is celebrating in style:

The Wight Bear is bringing back the magic with an all-female DJ set and a night of comedy.

SOBO Sommelier is hosting Bottomless Bubbles – the perfect toast to the incredible women in our lives.

The Fez is going all out with a special Ladies' Night.

Syds Slaps is bringing the vibes with Abi Lemon on the decks.

Know another venue celebrating IWD? Let us know, and we’ll tag them on our socials!

March doesn’t stop there – Southbourne Grove will be buzzing with special treats for Mother’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and more. Stay tuned!

Get Creative at Haberdasherdo!

Looking for fun, hands-on activities? Haberdasherdo has got you covered with craft workshops for adults and after-school clubs for kids. Whether you want to improve your sewing skills, master crochet, or try Amigurumi (yep, we had to Google it too – it’s the art of making small stuffed toys), this month’s project is a super cute jellyfish pattern!

Check out all of their upcoming workshops by clicking here!

That’s all for now, folks! Follow our local traders, support Southbourne’s brilliant businesses, and let us know if we’ve missed anything.

Until next time,
